Today is National Handbag Day! 

Today is the day where you should celebrate your handbag like no other. When you logically think about this, your handbag is actually like an amazing friend; stays by your side at all times and doesn't complain when you give them too much to carry while out shopping. Your handbag can keep your biggest secrets, it holds the most personal things and helps you hold yourself together during the day. Your make-up, perfume, hairbrush, your diary and phone to name a few. 

Using Polyvore I have created a set of some fabulous statement handbags (yes this Lulu Guinness 'Lips' clutch bag is very much a statement which needs to be made). The baby blue bag is the Mulberry 'Del Rey' which is of course named after the sensation who is Lana Del Rey. 

Other iconic bags that are certainly on my wishlist are the Chanel 2.55, Mulberry Alexa, Yves Saint Laurent Sac De Jour, Mulberry Roxanne Satchel and Vivienne Westwood black clutch.
