Getting ready for Brighton!
09:17Are any of you heading off to Brighton for the bank holiday Mod Weekender? The event is full of Mods, 60's lovers and enthusiasts who all gather to celebrate the beauty of Mod culture. There's so much to do and so many like-minded people for you to meet. Vintage stalls are open full of wonders, along with the Sunday scooter rally and daytime music. The night time events at the Komedia are great but there are other things to go to if you didn't manage to get tickets for the full weekend. (like me *sighs*)
Another important question, have you decided what to wear yet? If not, don't worry, here are a few ideas to save the day...
For the day time why not pair a pencil skirt or a pair of trousers with a classic 60's style polo? It's a timeless combination, perfect for during the day. Here below is an outfit grid I've put together, completed with a white 60's waffle polo, checked Aquascutum pencil skirt, vintage black loafers and bag.
The night time is your chance to shine by getting on your best dress or suit and dancing the night away. Whether it's vintage or bespoke especially for you, there are so many options.
I'd love to see what everyone is planning on wearing! I'll be blogging about my outfits over the weekend, as well as doing a bit of photographing of some of my favourite looks.
