If you can't treat yourself then who can you treat? Those were my thoughts in duty free, so I bought myself some new skincare products from Clarins to cure my holiday blues in the airport! I bought a travel kit for £36 which included Hydraquench moisturiser, body lotion, cleanser, beauty flash balm and hand cream. I've started to use all products as part of my daily routine.

If you're like me, you'll find that you tend to be on a budget when it comes to skincare products. I've always used Nivea moisturiser, which is amazing for making your skin so soft but I thought I'd try something different and see what the results were like.

With the moisturiser I found that it absorbed into my skin straight away, making it instantly smooth.

I've substituted make-up wipes for Clarins cleanser, which clears my pores and removes all make-up. If you use a cleanser morning and night you really do see a difference in your skin. Make-up wipes tend to get rid of make-up but that is that, unless they're exfoliating. I've also tried micellar water but cleansing really does get the best results.

After a morning cleanse and moisturise, the beauty flash balm serves its purpose to brighten skin under make-up. I'm using it with the Hydraquench Tinted moisturiser in 'Blond', in an attempt to let my skin breathe instead of using heavy foundation!

Overall, I'm really happy with the products I bought and I think I'll definitely continue using Clarins, especially the moisturiser.
