Record Store Day 2014 is upon us, so I thought I'd do a post on some of my favourite vinyl!

Humble Pie - Natural Born Bugie

I love the Small Faces so when I saw this in a local record shop I thought I'd have a slice of Humble Pie (see what I did there...)

It's become one of my favourites, a record full of crackling, classic R&B magic.

The Rolling Stones -Let's Spend The Night Together

Romance and rock n roll combined, without doubt one of my favourite songs by the Stones. I've started to make a small collection of Stones singles and I bought my third today. This is one of the first records I bought and it never stop playing it!

The Beatles - All You Need Is Love

I got this from my boyfriend for our first anniversary and I always get butterflies whenever I spin it. When a record has a meaning it makes it even more special. It's one of my most treasured possessions.

The Jam - The Butterfly Collector

The Jam were one of the first bands that got me into the mod scene. I first heard this track on Noel Gallaghers live album at the Albert Hall and loved it from then. It's so different to other Jam tracks and Weller's voice sounds flawless on it.

Booker T. And The MG's - Green Onions

I first heard this on Quadrophenia, I love how it has no words but the tune just makes me want to dance! I had my eye on this even before I got my record player. It sounds so cool and it was the first record I picked up on the day I went out and bought loads of vinyl.

Today my friend and I went to Newcastle does Vintage, a vintage fair situated at the Theatre Royal. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by different vintage garments which were so interesting to look at.

With over 40 vintage stalls, the theatre was buzzing with an atmosphere from people so passionate about vintage things. From clothes, bags, shoes, jewelry and even old comics and records. There were four floors of vintage stalls, and each floor was extremely busy.

Here I am now sitting at home and writing this blog-post, admiring what I bought. I thought I'd treat myself AGAIN, but it was worth it!

I fell in love with a lovely little St Michael jumper, it's only short sleeved so it's perfect for summer considering I live in roll necks most of the time! It's a cream colour so again it's got a summery vibe.

My second buy was a lovely brown leather bag with a gold clasp, I've been after one for ages and after searching almost every stall I found the perfect one. It's immaculate with a gorgeous suede style interior and two inside pockets. It holds that proper vintage bag look which I love. The bag was from the lovely Beth, who is @bruceysvintage on Instagram, she's also on twitter and Facebook too. Check her out if you love vintage, her stall was amazing and she sells online too!

Finally, I couldn't resist the gorgeous navy vanity case. It'll come in really handy when travelling, and I've been after one for ages. It's even got a little key and the inside is bright red and so neat.

I really think someone needs to take my card off me, in fact I know they do.

Today I picked up the most gorgeous pair of vintage Hush Puppies heels for £6! A mod girl can never have too many shoes and in my head I used the ongoing excuse; 'they're a bargain, I'll regret it if I don't.'

The story began on Blandford Street in Sunderland, in one of the charity shops the whole of the upstairs is pure vintage. From crockery, vinyl, clothes, shoes and even old fashioned cameras, it's all got a story behind it waiting to be told.

You can't go wrong with a little pair of black shoes, especially vintage! I'm planning to wear them with a pencil skirt and polo, or even a little dress. The heel is very practical too which is a bonus, I can't wait to give them their debut!

I love having nice underwear just as much as I love having nice clothes, it's a matter of feeling completely confident when you're wearing your favourite outfit along with your favourite set of underwear. It's got to be said I think all girls including myself have their off days. There's some days where the last thing I'm bothered about is matching undies.

Today after work I was having a browse round the town, intending to buy birthday presents for family. Instead I found myself browsing the Ann Summers sale, and fell in love with the most beautiful low line bra. Being a vintage lover I really adore that pin-up style look, and after looking on the internet for ages I still couldn't find what I was looking for. Today I found the bra of my dreams, a gorgeous silk and lace long line which is so comfortable and flattering.

I really suggest that anyone who loves their lingerie checks out the sale, thanks for reading!

You've got to treat yourself on payday, and instead of going overboard I stuck to looking at the sales and I'm so glad I did! Today I got two parcels, and being home for most of the day doing college work, it was nice to have an interval to try on my new gear.

My first bargain was a houndstooth mini skirt by Mango from ASOS, which I got for only £7. I couldn't quite believe it, it looks so good and fits like an absolute dream! Also with Summer coming soon, a mini-skirt wouldn't go a miss, it'll also look smart with tights on the colder days. That's a key thing for me when buying clothes, I always try and look for something which is good for all year around. I have so many dresses I bought last year that are only good in the Summer! I suppose I just get too attached to clothes eh..

My second was a long sleeved Pamela polo from Merc Clothing. I've been looking for a long sleeved polo for absolutely ages. Every single one I came across was either a mens or way out of my price range, so you can imagine I did a little dance when I found this in the sale. It's cream with navy piping around the placket and a little burgundy logo to the chest. Sharp and immaculate and I can't wait to wear it!
