A good cleanser and toner is exactly what your skin needs after a long day of wearing make-up, and these two purse-friendly products certainly do the trick! It's taken me ages to find a really good cleanser which suits both my skin and bank balance, and as soon as I applied this to my skin I could instantly feel a difference. The thing I love about this is it moisturises instead of just sitting on your skin, and isnt at all greasy!
As for the toner, tea tree oil is fabulous for teenage skin, it's anti-bacterial which means those spots are easily prevented and it keeps oily skin away. The Tea Tree Water also contains Grapefruit which is very rich in vitamins and is light on the skin. It's a spray which makes you feel instantly refreshed and awake. Another great thing about Lush Cosmetics is all the ingredients are natural!
Jasmin & Bergamote Perfumed Body Milk (£16) from L'Occitane En Provence
I got this in a gift set for my birthday and it really does work wonders. I always go for body milk and body butter which soaks into the skin quickly, like most girls, I've had my fair share of body butters which just sit there for hours not doing anything. With it's light spring perfume and quick absorbing, the body milk leaves skin feeling and smelling devine. L'Occitane is quite pricey, but it's totally worth it for the outcome. When I'm finished with this sample i'll probably try and find something similar, £16 is quite a lot for body milk! The fragrance is so fresh and really reminds you of spring, highly recommended!
Matte lip-stick in Ruby Woo (£15) from Mac Cosmetics
This is by far THE BEST lipstick I have ever used. I've got to admit I was quite unsure at first with it being matte as I thought it might be too dry, but it's amazing. The colour is so bright and it stays on for hours before you have to re-apply. It's always in my handbag!
Elnett Satin hairspray by L'oreal Paris
Every girl needs her handbag Elnett, it's the lightest hairspray I've used and brushes out straight away without the stiff and dry hair that normal hairspray usually leaves behind. I hate having flat hair, and Elnett keeps everything in place, they come in handbag sizes too which is always handy if you're having a bad hair day!
Oh Beehive! (around £14) by TIGI
For those who know, I love having my hair in a beehive. The amount of backcombing my hair goes through really isn't healthy! My mam got me this for Valentines day after I'd been wanting to try it for ages but it was so popular it had sold out almost everywhere. I'm going to be honest and say as soon as I saw the 'beehive' in the name I wanted it. It really does make a huge difference, and also makes your hair look and smell so clean. I'm used to using Batiste dry shampoo, which can have quite a sickly smell after a while. Oh Beehive! smells so fresh while leaving your hair big, bouncy and full of volume, combs away ladies!
